Your Shopping List a.k.a. Most Anticipated Games

So as the end of the year continues to crawl ever closer, some seriously awesome games are just coming into view over the horizon. So what games are you intending to buy at launch, what do you have on pre-order, and what are you most looking forward to playing?

Personally I've got the following games on pre-order from Amazon: Infinite Undiscovery, Soulcalibur IV, Fallout 3 and Fable 2. I think I'm most excited to play Fable 2, just because I loved the original so much.

I might get Force Unleashed and The Last Remnant on launch. We shall see. Also considering maybe getting a PS3 or Wii around Christmas, although I'm totally happy with my 360.

There's a load of other good 'sounding' games, but I doubt I'll end up playing them.

There's just so many interesting games coming I actually created a Google Docs spreadsheet to keep track of them all. At the moment I've scored these games as must buy:
Bionic Commando Rearmed, NHL 09, Fallout 3, Fable 2, Mirror's Edge.

Plus the following that wont arrive this year:
Assault on Dark Athena, Alan Wake, Mafia II, Portal 2

The following I gave four out of five points on my must-buy scale:
Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, Dead Space, Bionic Commando, Gears of War 2, Call of Duty: World at War, Street Fighter IV, Dark Horizon and Wipeout HD.

I'm in for a very expensive fall for sure.

Currently, I am most interested in the secret developments at Team ICO. They have released nothing more than obscure promotional art for their PS3 project, but this is one scenario where I feel completely justified in my excitement for their future projects. A game as terrific as Shadow of the Colossus or as unique as ICO, but created with next gen hardware in mind, is something I believe has the potential to be one of the generation's best offerings.

My next most anticipated game is Final Fantasy XIII. The battle system seems like a fantastic evolution of the changes introduced to the series in XII, as well as bringing its own innovations and originality to the table.

As for a game that strictly releases in 2008, my most anticipated game is LittleBigPlanet. It's not often that a game with this much originality comes about and I have been excited about its potential for quite a while.
