Alfira

Description

Alfira is one of the tiefling refugees from Elturel, who is seeking shelter at the Druid Grove, when the protagonist first meets her.

Related in-game events

She is a bard, and there is a small quest related to that in Act 1, where the player can help her to finish her song and be rewarded with Lihala's lute an Inspirational Event, if player's background is Entertainer.

If Alfira is alive in Act 2, she can be found in Last Light Inn. Player can get another Inspirational event by talking to Alfira (available for Folk hero background) by choosing a hopeful response. After the successful ending of Rescue the tieflings quest and if Lacrissa is alive, Alfira will award the player with the Potent Robe and various other loot.

If Alfira is alive in Act 3, she can be found on the rooftop of the Elfsong Tavern. Player can get another Inspiration Event just by talking to her there (available for the Entertainer and Folk Hero backgrounds).

If the player picked Dark Urge origin, Alfira can join the camp in Act 1 and later be killed during one of Dark Urge's episodes of Bhaalistic thirst for murder. This is a scripted event, and if Alfira joined the camp, she can't be saved.

The only way to save Alfira as Dark Urge is knocking her out and going to the camp for the long rest, so the replacement NPC Quill will take Alfira's place for the Dark Urge main quest.

Alfira as a companion

Latest game build doesn't have Alfira available as a companion. However she was intended as one, but scrapped later, according to the information gained from the game's files. She is listed there among other original characters and companions. If she was added as a companion, she would be a Bard class with the College of Lore subclass.

Players reported that when Alfira joins the camp, some of the environmental dialogues with other companions can still be triggered.
