This week's music references.

Toshikazu Hazamada's Stand "Surface" is a reference to R&B trio Surface. (I really like how this stand is really autonomous compared to most other stands in the whole series)

Yukako Yamagishi's Stand "Love Deluxe" is named after the album of the same name by the British R&B group Sade. (If it isn't named this episode during the eye-catcher it might be named next episode)

Hmm, didn't take Jeff to be a yandere fan. I'm somewhat indifferent to Yukako, but if people like a scoop of "Misery" in their romance, more power to them.

At the end of the first One Piece Color Walk artbook, Eiichiro Oda interviewed Akira Toriyama. It's very clear that Oda greatly admired him, from his illustrations (particularly for mechanical designs) to his storytelling and characters. Oda said he was like a god from a different dimension, but Toriyama was quite humble and self-effacing. I'd like to believe he knew how influential he was, but it didn't go to his head. A true legend.
